Let there be three terms X,Y and Z whose total is 30.

Let us say that the given numbers are denoted as :

a=1,b=3,c=5,d=7,e=9,f=11,g=13,h=15,i=17

Let X = ai - d

Y =( e+f) - ( g - b)

Z = h - c

Now,substituting the values, we get

X = (1×17) - 7= 10

Y =(9+11) - (13 -3) = 10

Z = 15 - 5 = 10

Hence X + Y + Z = 10+10+10 =30

This way we have used all the numbers given to us and using different operations we got three terms which add to 30.

Maybe there are other answers too but I found this to be simplified by breaking them into three terms totaling 10 each.
