Option (iii) :- 0

Explanation :-

Now we should start discussing from the very beginning.

A Standard Quadratic equation :-

→ ax² + bx + c where a ≠ 0

Now we will find out the roots using Sridhhacharyas formula :-

 x = \dfrac{-b\pm \sqrt{ b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}

Now here discriminant

= b² - 4ac

Now to get the equal Root the results obtained from the

 x = \dfrac{-b\pm \sqrt{ b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}

Should be same

• b² - 4ac should not effect the result

→ b² - 4ac = 0
