Which one between Na and Na+ would have more size? Why?​

Answer:

 Na+ is smaller than Na. When one electron is removed from the valence shell there are 11 protons but 10 electrons. This means that the nucleus can now pull each electron with a greater force than before. Due to this the electrons come closer and and the size of Na+ reduces.
