Which one has the highest boiling point. Please give appropriate reason as well.
The options are - carboxylic acid, alkane, alcohol or amines?

Carboxylic acid, because its functional group has maximum number of covalent bonds out of all the ones that are given.
More the covalent bonds, stronger the force of attraction, and hence more the heat needed for state conversion.
