Which Book is better for Physics 12, SL Arora or HC Verma ?

I haven’t read SL Arora, but I can strongly recommend HCV for physics.

HCV is a concise book, unlike the various bulky physics books nowadays in the market. It teaches you the concepts, and if you get that right, you will be able to do all questions of physics, wherever they come from, without breaking a sweat.

Most other physics books I have read for my entrances, generally had information you were supposed to “remember”, but as Walter Lewin has said, “No knowledge in physics is a prerequisite”. I f you are hearing of Walter Lewin for the first time, search for his physics lectures on YouTube. He is the greatest physics teacher I have ever seen.

But the thing about HCV is, you cannot study it half-heartedly. If you read even a single line of that book, read it with utmost attention. No kidding.
