Which one is bigger - mass or weight


Anonymous: i think mass is greater
Anonymous: for example if i have something that has mass 5kg then its weight will be , w=mg =5×10=50 N , , and if i find out mass then ,,m=w/g =50/10=5kg

weight is a vector quantity because it is always to the center of the earth and mass is the actual amount of matter in a body

Weight is bigger or greater because it is product of mass and gravity or is obtained by multiplying mass with gravity .

So ......

Weight is greater because mass will only become equal to weight ehen it ismultiplied with gravity .

Weight = Mass × gravity
