HERE'S YOUR ANSWER.....✌️✌️

BOTH ARE SAME.

SOLUTION:-

1/2 × 4/7 = 4/14

2/3 × 3/7 = 6/21

L.C.M. of 21 and 14 is 42.

So,

4×3 / 14×3 = 12/42

6×2 / 21×2 = 12/42

Therefore , they are equal.

Answer:

(1/2 of 4/7) = (2/3 of 3/7)

So both numbers are same .

Step-by-step explanation:

Here in this question provided that:

Two numbers are (1/2 of 4/7) are (2/3 of 3/7) .

We have to find out which one is greater .

Simplifying the first number we get:

(1/2 of 4/7) =

 \frac{1}{2} \:  of \:  \frac{4}{7} = ( \frac{1}{2}   \times  \frac{4}{7}) \\  =  \frac{4}{14}

Similarly Simplifying the second number we get:

(2/3 of 3/7) =

 \frac{2}{3}  \: of \:  \frac{3}{7} = ( \frac{2}{3}   \times  \frac{3}{7}) \\  =  \frac{6}{21}

Now we have to calculate the lcm(21,14) :

Before that we know gcd(21,14) = 7

lcm(21,14) = [ |21×14| ÷ {gcd(21,14} ] = 42

Now we have to convert the bases of 4/14 and 6/21 into a same number and that is lcm(21,14) = 42

So we get:

 \frac{4}{14}  =  \frac{4 \times 3}{14 \times 3}  =  \frac{12}{42}  \\  \\  \frac{6}{21}  =  \frac{6 \times 2}{21 \times 2}  =  \frac{12}{42}

Hence we can now identify which number is greater:

But in fact both are same actually;

 \frac{12}{42} = \frac{12}{42}  \\ or \:  \frac{4}{14} = \frac{6}{21} \\ or \:   (\frac{1}{2} \:  of \:  \frac{4}{7}) \: =  \: (\frac{2}{3}  \: of \:  \frac{3}{7})

Hence finally we get;

(1/2 of 4/7) = (2/3 of 3/7)
