➡ Iron and cotton will weigh the same as they are both 1 Kg.

➡ According to mass they weigh same .

➡ But 1 kg of iron will weigh heavier than 1 kg of cotton because of iron has more density compared to cotton .

➡ When this question is asked we feel iron is heavier than cotton because the apparent weight of 1 kg iron will be more than that of 1 kg cotton, and hence it will feel heavier.

➡ 1kg of cotton = 1 kg of iron

➡ The volume of cotton and iron may be differ . But both are equally of 1kg weight .

➡ As they both are of 1 kg we can say cotton and iron weigh same .
