-5 C° is more colder because the lesser the value of the number is an integer, the colder it is a degree of temperature.

-5°C is colder.

EXPLANATION

  • We are required to find out which of the given temperatures is colder.
  • The correct answer is, -5°C is than -4°C.
  • We know that if the temperatute is a positive integer than the smaller the number, the lesser is the temperature.
  • For example: 1°C, 2°C, 3°C, 4°C, 5°C. In the given sequence the temperature to the right is higher than it’s previous temperature and the temperature to the left is lower than the numbers in front of it.
  • Similarly, For a set of negative integers- -7°C, -6°C, -5°C, -4°C, -3°C, -2°C, -1°C. The temperatures to the right is lower than it’s previous integer and the temperature to the left is higher than the numbers in front of it.
  • Therefore, -5°C is colder than -4°C.
