(C) "Number of base stations is reduced"  is not an advantage of using frequency reuse.

Advantage of using frequency reuse :

  • Frequency reuse is a strategy for increasing capacity and transmission range by reusing frequencies and channels inside a cellular system.
  • In wireless connections, the frequency reuse approach is commonly employed to reduce user disturbance at the tradeoff of decreased spatial bandwidth efficiency.
  • Even though the frequency reuse-m model minimizes ICI, its biggest downside is that it limits network capacity. The operator is unable to handle all of the current UEs due to the limited resources available in each cell.
