Chasmogamy is the breeding device because the flower is open at the time of maturity but the cliestogamous flower is not open at the time of maturity so their is no genetic variation in cliestogamous.

Chasmogamy is out breeding device ,since cleistogamous discourage pollination ,so in this condition only self pollination can be happen .
