Pythagorean Triplets = = + , in which H = Hypotenuse, P= Perpendicular and B = Base

1. (2,4,6)

Let H = 6, P= 4 and B = 2

=+

(6)²=(4)²+(2)²

36=16+4

36= 20

3620

2. (3,5,7)

H= 7, P = 5 and B = 3

=+

(7)²=(5)²+(3)²

49=25+9

49=34

4934

2. (3,4,5)

H= 5, P= 4 and B= 3

= +

(5)²=(4)²+(3)²

25= 16+9

25= 25

Hence, (3,4,5) is a Pythagorean Triplet.
