The answer is option (B) Packed bed.

A trickling filter is a system of wastewater treatment.  It consists of fixed bed of rocks, peat moss, slag, etc. over which the wastewater flows and bio film grows. In this system, aerobic conditions are maintained. A trickling filter may also be called fixed media bed filter.
