Hyy!!

Answer:

CH3 ch2 ch2 CL

Explanation:

CH3 ch2 ch2 CL is more reactive than ch3ch (CL) ch2 CH3 in SN2 becoz primary(1°) halide nucleophilic attack is easier nd can undergo sn2 mechanism faster than secondary(2°) or tertiary(3°) halide.

Hope this helps u☺️

CH_3CH_2CH_2Cl is more reactive towards SN2 reaction.

  • In SN2 reaction the incoming nucleophile attack from the backside of the leaving group and gives a 100% inversion product.
  • In SN2 reaction the reactivity of alkyl halides follows the below order-
  • 1°>2°>3°.
  • Thus CH_3CH_2CH_2Cl is a 1° alkyl halide and undergoes a faster SN2 reaction and is more reactive than CH_3CH(Cl)CH_2CH_3 which is a 2° alkyl halide.
