- Acetonitrile consists of only one bond in it's structure.

- The structure of compound is CH3-C which is definitely a triple bond formation and the structure hereby clearly states that it's not sp² hybridized.

- There is a presence of pi bond in it's structure which never allows the rotation around double bond.
