so x = 6+x−−−−−√

squaring both side:

x^2 = 6 + x ;

x^2 - x - 6 = 0 ;

x^2 -3*x + 2*x - 6 = 0

(x - 3)*(x + 2) = 0

x = 3 ,- 2

x =3 is the answer.
