option C is the correct answer because resistors r not in parallel so voltmeter is away from the resistors and in the remaining , the switch is not closed and there is not required of correct position of ammeter.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Option C is correct

A voltmeter is an electrical instrument which is used for measuring the potential difference between two points in an electric circuit. Voltmeter has high resistance so it is always connected in parallel with load.

whereas an ammeter is an electrical instrument which is used to measure the electric current in a circuit. Ammeter has low resistance so it is always connected in series with load.

In option C the ammeter is connected in series and voltmeter is connected in parallel with load.
