Which one of the following pair cannot be the rectangular components of force vector of 10 N?

The rectangular components  a_x and  a_y of a vector  \vec{a} are such that

 |\vec{a} |^2=a_x^2+a_y^2 .

Here  |\vec{a} |^2=10^2=100

1) a_x=8,a_y=6 are rectangular components since  8^2+6^2=100 .

2)  a_x=7,a_y=\sqrt{51}  are rectangular components since  7^2+51=100 .

3)  a_x=6\sqrt{2},a_y=7\sqrt{2}   are rectangular components since  (6\sqrt{2})^2+(7\sqrt{2})^2  =100 .

4)  a_x=9,a_y=1   are not rectangular components since  9^2+1^2 \neq 100  .

Correct choice is (4).
