Hello friend,

Statement: which one of the following quantifies service level of dabbawalas

Answer: d)all above

Explanation: The dabawalas deal with fresh warm food. They cannot take the chance of delaying the process. They also have a time limit to which have to follow through. Therefore they cannot lose time and have to achieve their goal in given time by delivering the dabba at the given address. This translate into the quality of service they provide.

Thanks for asking. I hope the answer is helpful.

The thing that quantifies the service level of dabbawallas is consistency in product/service quality.

Dabawala was founded back in 1890 by Mr. Mahadeo Havaji Bachche.

In 1890, the ratio between dabbawala and customer was 1:1, and now, there are over 5000 dabbawalas and approximately 200,000 customers.

This means, one dabbawala delivers approximately 40 tiffins at a time.

The maximum weight comes to 65-70kg.

In 120 years, it has never happened that a dabbawala has failed to deliver.

This ensures a consistency in product service and quality.
