DELETE or BACKSPACE
- Simply select the cells to get rid of any background patterns, colours, or effects that may be present. Then select No Fill by clicking Home > the arrow next to Fill Color.
- When you click a cell and then press DELETE or BACKSPACE, the contents of the cell are cleared but cell formats and comments remain.
- Choose the cells that need to be changed. Click inside the table, then choose All by clicking the Table Move Handle in the top-left corner.
- Click the Shading menu on the Table Tools Design tab (the Table Tools Layout tab in OneNote). Choose No Color.
- Click Home > Fill Color > No Fill after selecting the cells whose solid fill colours you wish to remove. See illustration:
