Cell vacuole contròls osmotic pressure in cell.they do so because of several active transport system across the membrane that bounds the vacuole, these active transport system pumps the ions into the vacuole despite its high concentration in extracellular fluid.due ti this water enters the vacuole and provides turgidity and in turn high osmotic pressure.
