Lysosomes are known as the suicidal bags of the cell.They are usually used for breaking down food for the cells.But when they are attacked or they become old then the these bag type organelle bursts dissolving the cell from inside and this is the reason they are known as the suicidal bags of the cell.

Hi friend,

Cell has many organnels. Every organnel has a special function. There is division of labour in the cell.

The suicidal bags of cell is LYSOSOMES.
They are a type of waste disposal of cell. They help cleaning the cell by digestion of foreign bodies ie-bacteria, worn out cells,etc.They do this as they have powerful digestive enzymes which helps which helps breaking the organic substances. When some disturbance is there in cellular Metabolism, ie- Lysosomes may burst and enzymes digest their own cell. In that way Lysosomes are known as suicidal bags of cell.
