Vacuole is the organelle which provides turgidity and rigidity to plant cell. Apart from that cell wall also provide rigidity to the plant cells, bacterial cells and fungal cells. Vacuole contain enzymes, organic and inorganic molecules. Vacuoles are formed by fusion of multiple membrane vesicles. They have no basic shape or size and their structure varies from cell to cell. Like in plant cell, a large central vacuole is there but in animal cells numerous small vacuoles are present.

Vacuole provides turgidity and rigidity to plant cells. Vacuole is the largest organelle of plant cells so when water enters into a cell it extends in size and shape and becomes rigid ultimately the whole plant becomes turgid and rigid. Vacuole also contains food and wastes into it. Cell wall also does the same function.
Cytoplasm contains different organelles like mitochondria, Golgi bodies, Golgi Apparatus, Vacuoles and lysosomes etc.
