The endoplasmic recticullum is the organelle which serves as a channel for transport of material between the cytoplasm and the nucleus. It also has Ribosomes attached to it which helps in protein synthesise which is needed for the repair and growth of the body. It is also involved in processing and transport of protein and lipids.
