Hindu Sabha’s delegates founded the All-India Hindu Sabha was responsible for starting the Kumbh Mela 1915.
Later on, in the year 1921, its name was changes to Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha.
"Kumbh gets its name from the godlike Pot of Nectar, which the Demigods (Devtas) and Demons (Asuras) battled about, depicted in antiquated Vedic sacred writings known as the Puranas.
It is these Vedic written works that have stood the trial of time, out of which the convention has developed into the one that the world currently knows as The Kumbh Mela.
