I guess International organizations like the UN and nation-states like India, US , UK and many others have time and again used other parties including the nation states as a way to intervene for Peace.

The current tussle between US and N.Korea includes European Union, UN, etc who intervenes time and again to bring Peace and stability to the Globe.
