Answers
Accuracy and fluency are interdependent. The one cannot happen without the other. However, in the logical sequence, and scientifically ACCURACY precedes FLUENCY. This is particularly applicable in situations where the target language is the second language. Fluency in writing and speaking in any language is possible and achievable only when the learner is familiar with the accurate structures of a language. Accuracy is a technical term to refer to correct use of grammar of a particular language. Grammar is the knowledge of the rules and fluency is the speed at which the words, phrases, structures, etc. of a language are used by the learner. Without accuracy the user is bound to make mistakes which can further render ambiguities in the communication.
In conclusion it can be said that in order to acquire fluency in a the second or first language accuracy is a MUST!
