Hey Mate!!! here is your answer.....

Which pairs of following are complementary?
1) 70,20
Ans- Yes it is complementary because the total of 70 and 20 is 90.
2) 75,25
Ans- No it is not complementary because the total of 75 and 25 is not 90.
3) 48,52
Ans- No it is not complementary because the total of 48 and 52 is not 90.
4) 35,55
Ans- Yes it is complementary because the total of 35 and 55 is 90.

What is the measure of the complement of each of the following angles?
1) 45°
Ans. Complementary angle = 90°
Given digit- 45
Missing digit- x
90°= 45+x
x= 90-45
x= 45°
2) 65°
Ans. Complementary angle= 90°
Given digit- 65
Missing digit- x
90°= 65+x
x= 90-65
x=25°
3) 41°
Ans. Complementary angle= 90°
Given digit- 41°
Missing digit-x
90°= 41+x
x= 90-41
x= 49°
4) 54°
Ans. Given digit- 54°
Missing digit-x
90°= 54+x
x= 90-54
x= 34°

The difference in the measures of two complementary angles is 12". Find the measures of the angles.
Ans. Complementary angle= 90°
Given digit- 12
Missing digit-x
90°= 12+x
x=90-12
x=78°

Hope it helps you.... May God bless you and you do well in studies

Answer:

(70,20) and (35,55) are the pairs of angles are complementary......as the sum of these two angles is 90 degrees

2nd Answer:-

1) complement angle of 45= 90-45

=45degrees

2) complement angle of 65=90-65

=25degrees

3) complement angle of 41=90-41

=49degrees

4) complement angle of 54=90-54

=36degrees

3rd Answer:-

Let one angle = X

another angle =x-12

Sum of these angles=90degrees

X+x-12=90

2x-12=90

2x=90+12

2x=102

X=102/2

X=51

THEN,

1st angle=X=51 degrees

2nd angle=x-12=39degrees

HOPE THE ANSWER HELPS YOU..........
