The op-amp refers the Operational Amplifier. An op-amp is an electronic voltage amplifier that is DC coupled with high gain. An op-amp is known for producing very high output potential that is of the range of thousands more than input potential. The op-amp has two differential inputs one is inverting and one is non- inverting. The difference between the two inputs is amplified. They limit the output current it is finite but does not exceed a certain limit.
