Digestion of fats takes place in the small intestine with the help of bile juice which act as emulsifiers and break down the larger fat droplets into smaller ones. They are then acted upon by lipase enzyme found in pancreatic juice which convert them into monoglycerides and fatty acids.

most of the lipids you digest is completely fat. some digestion occur in your mouth and stomach. Bile is something produced by liver which emulsifies some fat globules into small droplets. digestion also takes place in the small intestine
