Which part of digestive system absorbs all nutrients? Explain the working of that part .​

the small intestine absorb most of the nutrients but the process of assimilation acts in the whole body as small intestine is divided into two parts -:

1)jejunum- it involves in absorption of carbohydrates and proteins

2)ileum- it is the longest part of small intestine . it absorbs vitamin B12 , bile salts etc that were not possible for jejunum to absorb
