Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir are mostly affected by Western Disturbances.

Western disturbances is actually a storm. It originates from Mediterranean region. When it travells many areas affected by this storm. For this storm Jammu and Kashmir gets snowfall, Himachal Pradesh gets cloudy sky and Punjab Haryana also get thunder shower.
