Thar desert of Rajasthan receives the highest range of diurnal temperature. During days the temperature is around 50 degrees, whereasthe same night the temperature may drop down to around 15 degree.

Diurnal temperature is the range of the Earth's temperature from low to high during one day. It difference between the maximum and minimum temperature in a single day.

Thar desert which is also India's largest desert (situated in Rajastan).
Rajasthan recieves highest diurinal range of temperature.If we observe in day the temperature is very high about 40-50 but in the night it decreases suddenly almost to 10-20 degrees.
Diurnal temperature (DTR) is the difference of the maximum and minimum reading of a temperature of a particular day.Factors affecting can be clouds,radiation(sun's rays) and so on.
