There is no part of the brain that gets damaged when one drinks alcohol.. But the alcohol interferes with neural connectivity in the Cerebum of the brain & causes slower reaction time, giddiness, etc.
But excess alcohol consumption causes liver cirrhosis which is infection of the liver.
