Required Answer:-

The petals (collectively : corolla) are the brightly coloured accessory organs of a flower. The flower is the reproductive part of the plant which consists the main and accessory organs.

Reason Why?

The bright coloured petals of hibiscus act as an agent for attracting the pollinating agents such as insects like honeybees, wasps, ladybirds, butterfly etc, birds like hummingbird to come near them for drinking the nectar.

While sitting on the flower, the pollen grains get attached to their feet which is transferred to the stamen by these creatures. This helps to self pollinate or cross pollinate the flowers, leading to further fertilization process.
