Basal ganglia is a brain structure, found in mid brain, responsible for finevoluntary motor movements. Originally Answered: Which part of the brain controls voluntary action? It make sense: you make decision in frontal cortex and electrily brain is connected to motor cortex tjat control movement of body.

Two parts control volutary actions they are cerebrum and cerebellum.cerebrum takes care of speaking, vision etc and cerebellum controls the balance and all motor actions.

Cerebrum also controls some involuntary actions but mainly controlled by medulla(actions like heartbeat, breathing movement etc)
