Which part of the leaf is used to prepare the leaf peel mount? Why ?

Tradescantia provides goodleaf peel. Therefore, it is commonlyused for this experiment. Lily leaf and Bryophyllum leaf can also be used for preparing temporary mount of leaf peel to observe stomata.
