Stomata are tiny pores in the leaves of the plants which evaporates water or takes out the process of transpiration.

Answer:
Part of the plant that plays a major role in the evaporation of water is stomata.
Explanation:
The epidermis contains a pair of cells called guard cells with a hole or stomatal pore between them. Guard cells and stomatal pore together form a stoma (singular) or stomata (plural).
- Stomata release the water as vapor into the atmosphere. Water is absorbed by the roots and transported through the plant tissues and released by the stomata of the leaves. This process is also known as transpiration.
- Open stomata help in carbon dioxide absorption and water loss. whenever there is an adequate supply of water, there is an advantage for the plant because when water is transported from roots to shoots, it carries minerals and the evaporation leads to the cooling effect, preventing the heat stress in leaves and young stems. However, if there is no adequate water supply in the soil and it is dry, transpiration can be very lethal due to desiccation.
