The tropical semi-aris climate where there is minimal or no rainfall is the area which is south the the Tropic of Cancer.

It includes the Bayalu Seeme region in Eastern Karnataka, the Kongunadu and Pandya Nadu regions of Western Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema region of Western Andhra Pradesh and the Marathwada region of Central Maharashtra.

However, the whole of the Thar Desert Region which covers most of the Rajasthan(excluding the eastern and southern fringes), North Gujarat and the Kutch Region of Western Gujarat falls under this climate type characterised by negligible rainfall.

these are some parts of India which remain dry almost throughout the year.
