Jelep La or Jelep pass is a high mountain pass that connects Tibet’s Lhasa with India at Sikkim.

Jelep La literally means the lovely level pass that has been used by traders for centuries. The pass is elevated at the height of 13,999 ft. Because of some boundary tensions, civilians are not permitted to visit the pas with out some sort of permit from the Indian Army.
