The reign of the Jacobin Government was called the reign of terror.
Robespierre, the ruler or the head of the government followed his policies so ruthlessly that all those who went against him were guillotined.
He was eventually guillotined himself when he was convicted in court with the charges.

Heya ✋
Let see your answer !!!!!
The period from 1793 and 1794 was known as reign of terror.
Following reasons are : -
➡ The down of Jacobin government.
➡ This was a policy of severe control and punishment.
➡ This policy was adopted by Maximilian Robespierre.
➡ During this period nobles , clergy and members of other political party who didn't agree with this method were arrested and tried by a tribulal.
➡ If the tribulal found them guilty , they were gulliotined.
Thanks :))))
