Clouds are formed due to evaporation. When the water from the surface of the earth evaporated and later rise up, these particles become loose. They are known as water vapour. Later, these particles arrive together and then cool down and condense to cause the formation of clouds. They are formed as ice crystals or visible water vapour. Thus this phenomenon is known as condensation.
