Stethoscope is  a medical instrument used by the doctors for listening to the sounds produced within the human body mainly in the heart and lungs.

Principle:
The reflection of sound is utilized in the working of Stethoscope

Working:
Stethoscope consist of three parts:
---> A chest piece which carries a diaphragm at its bottom.
----> Two ear pieces .
---->a rubber tube which joins chest piece and two ear piece.
The doctor puts the Ear piece of stethoscope into his ears and places the lung piece above the surface of patient's body.
The sound of heart beat reaches by undergoing multiple reflection of sound waves inside tube.

The working of Megaphone and bulb horn is also based on multiple reflection of sound wave.
