Explanation:

i) Platinum Gold and silver are used to make jewellery because of the following reasons. They are highly lustrous metals which are resistant to corrosion. They are highly malleable and ductile so can be transformed into any shape or design.

ii) Ductility. Ductility is a property of metals by which they can be drawn into long wires. The winding on the thicker strings is made of nickel-plated steel. The steel that the string is made of is great for the magnets in the pickups to “pick up” while the nickel-plating helps to balance out the bright sound of the steel.

gold is used to make ornaments because of its maliability , which can be beaten into even more thin and thin sheets so that we are able to make the desirable designs with gold

nickel is used in strings of guitar because of d letter so that it can be drawn into thin and thin wires

Answer:  for gold- it is malleability and ductility

              for nickel-it is ductility

Explanation: this is because gold is both malleable and ductile and can be shaped into any design.

And nickel can be drawn into wires for guitar strings....so hence it is ductile.
