Magnetic moment is the quantity. And it is vector.

Joules per Second is a power (time rate of change of energy). It can be a vector (Poynting vector), but usually is a scalar. Note that the Poynting vector is energy flux per unit time, so it’s unit is Joules per squared meter per second.
