cartilage is present in the joints of  the elbows, knees and ankles ;  Ends of the ribs.

Our body is totally made up of cartilage when we are born later on the calcium deposition takes place.The only pure bone present in a baby is the sub clavical bone also known as beauty bone.

In humans cartilage is present in ear, inconplete cartilagenous rings of trachea etc.
