Answer:

"Mars has approximately the same landmass as that of the Earth".

Extra Information:

Mars can be identified easily in the sky by its red colour. Scientists believe that due to presence of limonite (iron containing mineral) on the Mars, it appears red. It is also called the red planet. The mean distance between the Mars and the Sun  is about 2.26 × 10^8 km and its diameter is about 6,720 km. It takes 20 hours and 37 minutes for the completion of one rotation and about 687 days for the completion of one revolution.

The surface of the Mars is of volcanic nature and its temperature varies between 20°C - 143°C. Two polar caps are also seen at the two ends of the Mars. When the cap faces towards the sun, its size decreases. Scientists believe that the caps  are made up of snow. It has two satellites called Phobos and Diemos. Nix Olympia (Olympus) is an extinct volcano on the Mars, which is about 3 times more in height than Mt. Everest.
