There are so many plants whose leaves are used in the cooking of flavoured dish such as thyme, rosemary, parsely, orange etc. These are mainly the leaves of the herbs which can be used as salary, with soft stem. But among these in Indian cooking thyme leave is very famous and about the western cooking, specially of French, the cusine leaves are popular for adding flavour in the foods. Sometimes the bark of cusine is too used as spices for adding flavour.
