Chlorophyll is the part of a plant that shows red colour when it get ultraviolet light. Thus is because Chlorophyll absorbs red and blue light the best, which is why we see green when white light is reflected off of the leaf. However, if you only feed it ultraviolet light, the only colors you will be able to see are those colors that it can absorb in the first place.
