An amphibious plant is one which has its roots in mud, silt or sand underwater. The plant grows up through the water and it’s leaves grow above water thus living both in and out of water - amphibious.
Examples of amphibious plants are: Sedge, Foxtails, Reedgrass and Mannagrass. Bryophytes are amphibious plants
